Tupac Shakur (1971 - 1996) was a rap artist known for his large influence within black america and large cult like following. 2Pac’s music was known for being explicit, rude and in some cases, a realistic visualisation of people living within the hoods and ghettos of the west coast. 2Pac is widely known for being one of the most influential rappers of all time. Christopher George Latore Wallace (1972 - 1997) - otherwise known as The Notorious B.I.G., was a rap artist from Brooklyn, New York. Biggie Smalls was known for being one of the most influential and greatest rappers of all time. Biggie Smalls' music was known for being flowy, lyrically heavy and laid back. Biggie Smalls’ songs; ‘Big Poppa,’ and ‘Juicy,’ would become staple tracks for people to listen to for years to come. Both rap artists were tangled up in an American ‘East side, West side’ gang rivalry, one that would eventually kill both 2Pac and Biggie.
